Which is worth it? EDC

Have and enjoy both.

The 940-1 is possibly more of a typical EDC folder due to size for a lot of people. Axis lock, S90V, lightweight.

0452 CF is significantly larger but light and very carry-able for its size. Awesome folder to me. May depend if you want a bb flipper?

Both have great warranty/backup.
Yeah, you need both.

Both are great edc, both are worth it. I would say it depends on the company you are around when you need to use it. The ZT is going to make non-knife people a little more uneasy than the 940. You cannot go wrong with either one, so buy both!

Having own both I would vote for the 940 and would say it's the best benchmade has to offer of course imo

I also have both and couldn't do without either one.
Both smooth as oiled glass with excellent actions. Very cool blade profiles on each.
Both comfortable in hand.
You need both!!

I will vote for the 940-1. Lighter, smaller in pocket and plenty of blade length for most EDC tasks. My favorite.

The 0452 is drop dead gorgeous but I don't care for frame locks, bearings or flippers. It's also larger than I like for EDC.
I think the 452 may be the sexiest folder I've seen since joining BF. YMMV

Both are very good
Depending of what you already have - axis or framelock - take one or the other

IMHO the 0450cf is a better challenger for the 940

The 0452 is just too large for me...

the 045* may be better slicers but I like the strong tip of the 940-1
I swap the clip for a deep carry clip and it is really better for me this way

Buy whatever you think will see the most use.

I've had a bunch of ZTs and love 'em, although not that particular model. It is popular, though, of course.
I've had a few Benchmades, and carried one nice folder for several yrs. I've had a 940-1 and sold it... I love the S90V...but I don't like a light knife...nothing lighter than about four ounces. That's just personal opinion, obviously.
