Have placed and order with JRE for a few things including a sheath for an Fallkniven S1
However I am unclear about the differences between the models and their relative strengths?
So Looking for reccomendations and reasons
I would like a fairly low obtrusive sheath in both perception and projection as Australian bush can be quite dense and clingy. I would like the sheath to sit on the right side vertically. However if I am carying a pack I can snap on a dangler attachement (also ordered) so it sits below the wast belt.
I like the simplicity of a pancake sheath or standard sheath but are unclear why so many are going to grundy and square bottomed sheaths.
Can I be enlightened on the differnences between the sheaths (standard, pancake, grundy) and the relative strengths??
I need to get back to Dan at JRE relatively soon to finalise the ordeer - so would appreciate advice.
Cheers
