For me it's the BK14. I can put it just about anywhere on me and forget it's there until I need it.

Which is yours?

Today, I have a BK11, a 1259 and a 5055 (shorty Kabars, kraton handle, combo clip and combo tanto). On some days, a 1258 and/or a 5054 (plain blade versions of the 1259 and 5055) replaces one of the shorties. These 4 rotate based on which ones have been sharpened most recently.

I carry a BK11 so I always have a Becker for a Becker Scavenger Hunt pic, a bottle opener and a conversation starter - I've "sold" 20 to 30 BKs just from showing someone the 11 and talking about Beckers in general.

The 4 shorties are the kraton handled versions and have the black glass-filled plastic sheaths. The black handles/sheaths don't stand out as much against my black dress pants or my blue jeans as the brown stacked leather handles and brown leather sheaths do. I prefer the plastic sheaths over the black leather ones available (models 1254, 1255, 1256, 1257) as the plastic sheaths have 3 retention mechanisms (2 straps - 1 around the top of the handle and 1 down across the guard ambidextrously) and a couple of formed extrusions that snap over the guard.

My BK11 rides with me on my hip for every day tasks, the BK2 - just in case its need, BK5 because its the closest I'll ever come to a Fisk knife and I swap it on my belt when I leave work, and the BK13 for my kids to carve with, and one of my BK15's for if I need to chop up any fruits or veggies for lunch. The 2,5,13, and 15 ride in my EDC bag. :D

Bk14 in back pocket daily. Lately I've been carrying a BK9,5 and 15 in edc pack.
Why? 14-it fits so good and is handy, 9-always makes its way around one way or another, 15-small enough to ride in the pack easily, 5-it's new and I like havin it around lol.

I can't EDC anything of reasonable size because if I were caught with it the Po Po's would smack me on the bum bum however my wife has her BK11 in her handbag for protection and for use in the office. Her colleagues get a little bit scared/excited when she uses it to open packages etc. I am going to come up with an idea to EDC my 1117 as an ankle strap carry with a small altoids 1st aid tin and one of those tiny little maglights. Thanks for the thread Noswad, its got me motivated...

my only KA*BAR to date is my USMC Fighter. Little big to be toting around town though but it DOES stay with my urban trunk bag [vehicle]...along with my AR500 plate carrier and 'other' goodies.

I carry one of the Barlows I own. A Barlow has been in my pocket for years one way or the other.
