Which kami?

Hi, and greetings from Norway.

I have this BAS with a nicely thin blade (about 8.5 mm at the bolster, where the average seems to be about 10 mm) and surprisingly lightweight (only 497 grams/17.5 oz).

What I could not figure out, though, is which kami it is who make these nice and thin BAS blades?

Bhakta Kami, I have two of his works. He probably has the nicest fullers going.

Yup, Bhakta is right! Hmmm. He made a BAS? It's only 17oz? Wow, that is going to be one fast and light blade.

He does make some fine blades. I have 4 or 5 pieces of his. Impeccable hammer skills.

Awww Bahk....not to be confused with Bach. He does good stuff and is the current main master of the bowie.

I'm seeing that he makes lots of other nice models too.

I'm working on my new AK from Bhatka. Great looking fullers on it. I sanded the handle and soaked it in boiled linseed oil last night.
