Which Kershaw has the better steel?

Just wondering, i'm all confused.

They are the same when it comes to the cutting edge. The fused edge is D-2 on both, the steel it's fused to is different is all. I"m sure most would say the 154CM is the better. Only other difference is the Tyrade is assisted, the JYD is not.

Go with the Tyrade. It is limited production and is getting harder to find every day. The JYD2 is also very nice but is still in production.

CPM-D2 is good stuff. As Sith stated, both knives have the same steel on the edge. You may as well face reality and get both, it's what almost everyone here ends up doing anyway
