Which knife do you prefer, the Cold Steel AD-10 or the AD-15? I love my Cold Steel AD-10, so that's my choice, but I like both knives.

The AD-10 is a beast. I just picked up the OD green/black blade variant and couldn't be happier.

A lot of folks love the 15, but it doesn't fit my hand very well. YMMV.

Ad10 for me, but that's because I have a hollow ground version! The ad15 is awesome though, fun lock to play with, just wish the handles weren't as shreddy as they are. Mines the lite version, but it's still a beastly knife!

The AD-10 looks boring AF. I have the SR1 and a couple Recons tho, so if I were going to buy another CS it would be the AD-15, mostly because of how unique it is, and to try a scorpion lock

Another vote for the AD 10... although the triad lock is boring, it is a proven design and easy to use. Like the look of the AD 15 but just never fell in love with the Scorpion lock..

I have the AD10 which is a very nice, solid knife, well built. But for my moderately heavy outdoor work, I find my Ultimate Hunter of similar blade size, but much lighter, to be stronger than I ever need a folder to be. Mine has lasted for years with no signs of deterioration. The UH is easier to carry.

Being a big Triad lock fan, I m not interested in getting the AD15.

Yup; except I do not find the TriAD lock boring. To me, anything that is reliable, durable, strong and simple, is not necessarily boring just because it's simple. In fact, combining those attributes at a reasonable and reasonably obtainable price is actually amazing!

i have both, the ad10 feels better in the hand and feels easier to open and close, the g10 scales on the ad10 are much smoother and feel much better than the rough scales on the ad15, the ad10 slips in and out of the pocket much easier as well

the ad15 needs to be broken in a bit for the action to become smoother, its kind of stiff to open out of the box but does get better after some use

I bought both at once to try em at the same time. The Ad 15 is still on site.

Both were nice for me, but the 15 just felt better, and I really like the scorpion lock.

AD15 for me. I like the blade shape just a bit better, the lock is more fun and unique, and I can operate it one handed. Lock is also plenty strong.
