Which knife should I buy spyderco

I don't have either, but the SuperLeaf design looks interesting. I really like the compression lock on my ParaMilitary 2, and the SuperLeaf uses the same mechanism. I'd pick that over the Military. Or, you could look at the ParaMilitary 2. It's a bit smaller than the Military, but does share some similarities in their designs.

Hate to start the barrage of folks who are going to parrot this, but you should probably look into the Paramilitary-2.

If you don't now, you'll just end up doing it later :D

I prefer the Taichung and Golden, CO Spydercos over the Seki, Japan Spydercos. So, I'd go with the Military over the superleaf. I also like the Military blade shape better.

The Superleaf has a super wide blade that you'll notice most when it's taking up space in your pocket.

Like others said Look in to the Paramilitary 2.
Out of the two you said, I'd say go for the millie, but the Para 2 is by far the best $120 knife you'll ever buy. I'm not even exaggerating, its built like a $250+ dollar blade. I promise you will like it. I haven't met anyone that likes spyderco not like this knife. Anyone I know that can afford to has at least 4 of them or plans to get more. You could even go for a sprint run model with a better steel too, the blue one uses M390 I think it is. I've heard marvelous things about that steel.

Hey guys thanks for the input I do have a para 2 I think I'm gonna go with the military but still thinking about it

I liked the superleaf alot. my only complaint was the handle cut into my hands. It was rough. I guess nothing some sand paper cant fix.

I'm also stuck between the military and the para 2. Im leaning towards the millie, because I can get the lh model prety cheap, but only the satin finish blade. I like the para 2, but its not lh specific, but the dlc cated blade looks really cool! What to do? So many knives so little money

I'd go for the Superleaf: first, it's discontinued. Once it's off the market entirely, you're likely going to pay dearly to try one down the road. Not only is the Military not going anywhere, but it's bound to improve in later iterations.

Second, the compression lock is fantastic and I strongly prefer it to a liner lock. In fact, I'm holding my breath until Spyderco releases the Military with a compression lock, which, if you ask me, is only a matter of time. I'm guessing that when they do, they'll also tap the knife for a 4-way positionable pocket clip, which would give me my preferred tip-up carry.

Third, the price! The Superleaf is going cheap, again, due to being discontinued, while the Military appears to be full price (unless you're going after a lefty model, in which case, jump on that one).

I say get the Superleaf while you can. I really like the design of it.
You can always pick up a Military later on.
