I can't decide which knife I should get! Even though I want them all which knife should I buy first. I appreciate all help deciding and advice. Stay sharp.

Here is the list of candidates:
1) Bark river sts 8
2) Bark river sts 5
3) Blackjack knives Model 14 Halo Attack (border patrol handle)
4) Swamp Rat Rodent 6
5) Scrapyard Knife Company SYKCO 711

Depends on what you want to use them for. I always purchase in order of how much I will use it. If there is a knife i'll use every day, compared to a camping knife i'll use once a month...I know which one i'd purchase first.

What do you want to do with the knife? Those are wildly different knives you are talking about.

Outdoors/camping/defense but also collectability. I am leaning lately towards knives that come with a convex edge for their sharpness and ease of sharpening.

The Bark River STS knives are fighters. They are not designed as outdoors knives.

The Halo Attack, without the top guard, some people like as a large outdoors knife.

The Bark Rivers and BlackJack are convexed.

I'm not sure what you mean by "collectible." Bark Rivers hold their value ok, but there is nothing rare about them....they don't go up in value. The same is true, and even more so, with the BlackJack.

If you really expect to be doing a lot of knife fighting, those BRKs and the BlackJack would be excellent choices. If you expect to take them camping Bark River and BlackJack make knives specifically designed for outdoors/camping. I would get one of those. Like the BRK Aurora or North Star. If you really want to do some knife fighting, they will function adequately.

I would go with the Scrapyard myself but the 511 over the 711. I found that 7" blades just don't do it for me as an outdoors knife.

4) Swamp Rat Rodent 6
5) Scrapyard Knife Company SYKCO 711

Those are the only ones on your list that i'd want

that said i'd go for the Rodent 9 before any of them

You can't go wrong with the Blackjack 14. It's one hell of a good knife
