Hello again my fellow members!
So I have been trying to decide which knife to buy next. I am leaning to the 150 plus range and
Right now I really like the spyderco domino, Emerson horseman, Emerson commander and possibly a ZT just not sure.
It's really between the spyderco and Emersons. I really like the dominos design and stonewashed Ti. Makes it look really great and if I got it I plan on stonewashing the blade as well.
As for the Emerson's I am leaning towards the commander but it looks like it might be a pain to sharpen?
I don't have any experience with the horseman or commanders blade styles so if you do comment below please.
If any of you have experience any/all the knives please let me know how they compare.
And if there are any other knives similar to these let me know. ( nothing really over 200 please)
Thank you!

Looks like you like knives with fast opening mechanisms. I'd get the domino or a zt 560. I don't have a domino but I have a 560. I love it. Opens fast with no springs. Just the ball bearing pivot system and the flipper. Thumb studs if you want. Titanium framelock. And since there's no springs your never gonna have to replace a broken spring

Domino.

An excellent knife at an excellent price. Not to mention, you can find them on the Exchange NIB for quite a bit less than the retail price.

It sports the CTS-XHP blade steel which has been phenomenal in my experience. Blade length is perfect for EDC, not too big and not too small. It flips very well. The bling factor is there, with the checkered carbon laminate scale/titanium lock side. Handle feels great in the hand.

Not much else I can say about it. Only aspects that might detract from an otherwise superb knife are that it's not made in the USA and the clip isn't a deep carry clip. Neither are really of any consequence, there are aftermarket options for clips and the quality is impeccable.

So yeah, do yourself a favor and get a Domino.

^ I second the Spyderco Sage ii. I've had the emerson horseman and it does well in a edc role. Depends on if you want a 'tactical' vs 'dress' knife. Both are 'hard use' and great knives

Spyderco Paramilitary 2 is anywhere between $100 and $200! So satisfied and suprised with quality for the price. I also own a ZT 0350 and i love it!

My vote is for the Spyderco Sage 1 or 2.. perfection

I've had one Emerson which I carried briefly and then sold. It's a good design, and generally can sharpened when you're in the boonies due to the 154cm steel.
However, I've had many Spydercos and I love 'em.
You should consider the Spyderco Paramilitary 2, since that is one of the most popular models ever made. You can get the basic blade-steel (S30v) for $130 or so. I also think the Sage 2 is a great knife, all titanium scales, frame-lock. Excellent. If you like flippers, then look at the Brad Southard or Domino, both of course by Spyderco. I can't help it if I like that company. Great folders.
ZT's are also wonderful folders, but primarily designed for heavy-duty use. I've had a handful of them, and I presently have settled for the 0550, capable of heavy-duty without being so darned large as the 056x series of ZT's. ZT's are also heavier, in general, because they are more rugged knives.
All of these are great folders.
