I was all set to buy SOMETHING...even though funds are limited since getting cut back on the 8hours OT I've been getting for months ($200 less a week!). Then I got gifted some handles for my '9...the second set since winning some Oregon Fal'er grips a while back. I figured, lets skip the knife this week and upgrade to Gold instead. I figure it'll pay off in the long run. I've never paid to be on a forum, but this place is pretty cool with a lot of cool people constantly hooking each other up, so I might as well support it.

Of course...I upgraded to Basic last week...should have just waited! Oh well...

Guess I'm here to stay....
 
Congrats on the goldness... I just got my pay check. I was gonna call and get a 10 but APPARENTLY they are all sold out. :( (Yes I did call and leave a message)

Congrats on the upgrade! This is exactly the reason I decided to upgrade my account! It's a great place to hang out and if my small annual contribution can help it stay around, I'll do my best every year.
 
OT has been down for me the last few months as well so I feel your pain. And I also upgraded to gold a couple of days ago. First time I have ever paid a forum subscription but worth it for all the great stuff I have learned from this site.
 
Knowledge is prepping too, Money well spent. I've learned ridiculous amounts of stuff here the last few months.
