Which knife to buy?

As a scout leader in the uk a knife is a very practicle thing to have, when going on a camp. I am wondering what knife would anyone recommend, I have looked at the knives advertised by Bear Grylls, (chief scout), and after reading reviews I am moving away from those knives. So if anyone has any reccomendations then please reply. Thanks

So many choices. We've had hundreds of topics on what sort of knife a Scout should carry. Here's the most recent, What Knife for Philmont. If you're unfamiliar, Philmont is the largest Scout camp in the world, and it's located right here in New Mexico.
