I looking for a christmas present I have about 60-80$ for this one.I was thinking a Sog flash,I have owned a sog trident before and was pleased but i have never had a benchmade or kershaw. Does anyone have any ideas on a tactical folder in that price range. thanks

check out the BM grip, I think they are in your price range. Do some looking and you might find some real nice BM close to your price range.

Check out the Kershaw Speed Bump or the Cyclone. Both are within your price range and can be considered "tactical". Especially if you like the Trident.

A Kershaw Avalanche can be had on the upper end of your limit, and although a model that has been around a while, the Avalanche is a great knife. Good steel (S30V), solid construction, and AO capable.

I just picked up a Cyclone for a little less than $50.00. Am very please with it. Not a small knife though!:) One of the sharpest factory grinds I've gotten  .

Another vote for the Cyclone (or Mini-Cyclone if there are blade-length restrictions). The steel (13c26 I think?) takes an extremely keen edge, maybe the keenest edge i have seen. after sharpening my blade to where i wanted it, it cuts my skin if i touch it, and slides through paper basically under its own weight. the "flipper" blade actuator/ guard is a nice touch, and the grind/ geometry is about ideal for an EDC or defensive carry type blade, in my opinion. I dig it. It beat out a spyderco native, Benchmade monochrome and Gerber Gator 154CM as my favorite inexpensive EDC folder. The Speed-Bump i think would be a nice choice as well, over the Spec-Bump (I like the 13c26 steel on the Speed a lot better than the S30V of the much more expensive Spec...)
