I am trying to decide which of these two knives should I buy.
Cold Steel SRK or Cammilus BK 7. Does anybody have any experiences with these two ? Which is stronger and better quality ?

Well, they are both made by Camillus and both are great knives.

Of the two, I would go for the SRK, I had a BK7 and while it was nice, I found the handles to be to thick.

I guess both SRK and CU7 are nice, but it depends if you've got some smaller blade with you ...I mean, if you have just one knife to carry with you SRK will be the best choice for multipurpose uses; but if you have a little knife with you (SAK for ex...), i would choose the CU7 : so much for so little money that it will soon become a "classic" ... I love mine very much !!!
Just my 2 cents opinion...

There's a BIG difference in the grips between the two. Personally, I'm not that big of a fan of large handles, like on the Becker, BUT they are really excellent for chopping because the shock is spread out through your hand much better.
However, your grip is going to be better on the SRK, but it will be less comfortable if you're doing a lot of chopping.
I hope that helps.

I have had experience with both and side with the becker over the SRK, I just liked it more for chopping etc.

I think I'll go with BK7, I already have some smaller blades , I will be using it in wilderness survival situations for chopping and everything else, so a longer heavier knife like a BK7 should be good for that.

Unless you are locked into either the BK-7 or the SRK (both are great knives, BTW...), you might want to take a look at the Spyderco Temperance...VG-10 steel, and an excellent handle.

I have had my CS SRK since they came out. I have used it alot in camping and hiking. It carries a very thick blade and a nice handle. It can take some abuse. It is smaller which I tend to take on long range hiking trips.
I also have a CS Recon Scout that I like much better for an all around camp knife. It is much bigger overall and chops easier. The Recon also has a bigger hilt. I like bigger hilts on knives especially when in a remote area. A slip of the hand could mean the end of a camping trip or worse.
I dont have a BK-7 to give review.
