which knife would you choose?

I'm looking to buy my first Busse and would like to know which of the following mid sived knives anyone would recommend over the others. I have a RatManDuex LE and it feels good in my hand, I'll be using the knife for camp cores and just for the Bad A_ _ looks of it. Thanks for any input!

FSH - a classic. must have
CG BM - badass, great chopper, still bearable weight
BWM LE - the nicest "modern mistress" IMHO


Sarsquatch - probably the most practical solution...still badass
ASH skinny - light, "badass", SQ is more comfortable, but ASH is more pointy...
SFNO - a classic. must have. reasonably light, still very capable
NMSFNO - heavy duty
SAR 6 - ...my next purchase:foot:
 
I don't get it. What's the point of the 3 groups? One from each group? One over all? That's kind of a broad range of uses to only choose one.

Edit - If its one from each, I'd say Dog Father (love the comfy res C), NMFBM (if you're saying any Mistress) and the SAR6. I haven't held a better Mid sized blade than the SAR6. I sold my skinny for a pumpkin 6.

Edit Edit - Ok, I read the very top which I didn't see at first. I wouldn't consider all those mid-sized. I still think they range too much... to pick one though.... SAR6. I'm in love with mine. Sure, you'll lose some function due to the shorter length, but the same can be argued for a longer blade. SAR6

Holy crap... I'm on crack. I thought Gixxerman's was the OP.... But you said "which of the following" and then didn't list anything. Am I the only one who's lost???

in no particular order: SAR6, Sarsquatch, SFNO, ASH, BOSS Jack...

all mid-sized winners IMO.

I'm partial to the Sarsquatch, SFNO, and BOSS Jack, but the SAR6 is getting rave reviews and the ASH takes the cake in the badass-looking category.
 
If you are only going to get one, I would go with one of the larger mid-sized knives IMO. I am assuming that NMSFNO and FSH are going to be considered the largest mid-sized compared to the FBM and larger models. I would do this because you can perform most of the tasks of a small knife with a large knife, but not the other way around. You can chop limbs with relative ease and still perform some fairly intricate work like skinning/food prep all with one blade. I have a Sar-6 and an Ash SE, and while they are great mid-sized knives, I would not want to take down limbs for firewood with them if I had to.
 
SARSquatch.

They are a steal right now and a tough blade that is big, but not heavy.

Second choice would be NMSFNO.

I too own a couple rats, but just bought my first busse friday. It should be here any day. I went with a cg battle mistress. That's my suggestion.
 
personally I'd probably go with a dssf instead of a nmsfno, but I tend to like the satin jack profile a lot.
 
Ratweiler/Chopweiler or Son of Dogfather. 2 of the best survival knives ever made, period.
