Hey just wanted to ask everyones opinion. out of the al mar eagle talon, the zt 301 (the tiger strip one), or the benchmade bedlam automatic, which do you think is the best all around carry and survival knife?

Survival knife? Not sure what you mean by that, but it sounds like something a fixed blade might be better suited for. Those are three very different knives, so it depends on what you want. The Al Mar is VERY slim and light, not the strongest, but it should be strong enough for reasonable tasks. It will also be the easiest to carry. The ZT is tough and big. The Bedlam has a blade shape more suited to stabbing.

You're trying to compare apples to oranges.........The ZT and Bedlam are more "tactical" knives, and the Al Mar more of an EDC. A folder is probably the last choice I would want for a survival knife, unless it was a SAK. For EDC, i'd go with the Al Mar. The ZT is a big knife more suited to harder use roles, and the Bedlam is an auto (which might be illegal to carry in some places).

Sorry i should have specified, when I say survival I simply mean a shtf scenario not exactly wilderness.
