Which Bob Lum tanto folder do you all prefer, the Titanium handle with the shiny blade, or the G-10 handle with the black blade?

Thanks for your input.

I like Ti better than most scale materials, but I found the scales on the Ti Lum Tanto to be rather thin and somewhat sharp on the palms when gripping. The G-10 Lum scales are smoother and more comfortable.

As for blade coatings - I generally don't like them (and don't need them). However, it does look pretty cool.

Also, you should know that many of the early Ti Lum Tantos had liner-lock up problems. The later runs of the Ti Lums and the G-10 Lums appear to have corrected this problem.

Hmmmm... Tough question..

The Ti-Lum folding tanto is a classy knife. Very good collector's item! But when it comes to hard use, go for the G-10! Satin or Black Ti coating is just a matter of preference.. ;)

I'd prefer the G-10 version with VG-10 satin blade, but I see that that model only comes with the blade covered in icky black stuff. :barf: :barf: I like my knives to not look like total **** after a week of carry and use, so I'm SOL when it comes to this one I guess. Oh well, the fixed blade Lum kills 'em all anyway!
