I have held three variations:

And all have their uniqueness. I really like the solid feel of the Mili Meaner Street but wish it had more of a guard or larger choil. It feels like my hand might slip on a hard thrust especially if wet but I have not tested this. I like the SS4 (my wife's) for its more secure feeling grip IMHO and its choil but does not feel as solid. The INFI-Coot has a more solid feel than the SS4 to me and I like the choil size.

My dream would be to get a Mili Meaner Street with a larger choil or front guard. Which meaner do you guys prefer and why? :)

Sorry but I am still trying to find that "perfect" EDC knife. Perhaps I should just settle with the BATAC SE as my EDC. ;)

I feel the same way Tyrkon. I EDC a Leaner, but do wish it had a tad bit more guard. I've yet to use it so hard that I felt like I might lose my grip, but it just seems like more guard would be appropriate.

I think you had a Heavy Duty once? It seems like the fatter blades give a little more secuse feel -- just by filling your hand more...

I don't have a meaner, but I EDC a SS4 in my front pocket. It's a great combination of toughness and lighter weight. If it was always in a belt sheath, I might want the heft of the meaner. I also like the exposed tang.

I like the SE like the one in the pic. The miliganza's are a bit more heavy and wider if you like that...I like em a little thinner

Since you like the Badger so much an ABA might be your huckleberry. Feels lighter than the miliganza's meaners at .200 vs .150 for ABA. May be a bit long for EDC though?

TL, do a inverted grip on it when you to thrust it into a Zombie's head. Just be sure to wrap your thumb over the butt when doing this! In this position it's next to impossible for you hand to slip down onto the blade.

As for my choice...ha! that's an easy one...the Busse of course! Meaner's and ADs are still the kings of EDC. Just illegal to carry with your shirt covering it in California! But, some us still carry one now and then.;)
