So i absolutely love my new Mini- Commander. It hasn't left my side since i unboxed it. My question now is should i go for the Mini A100 or the mini CQC-7. I'm looking for a travel knife that is 3in. or below.

Thanks for the help guys

Hate to be the odd ball but for traveling id say the mini a100 would be easier on the sheeple. Im not one to care but you know how people are. Trying to get on a plane with any knife doesnt sound like a good time much less a tanto. And you need a regular 7.

I'd go with the mini a-100. Go luck finding one though. I've looked all over for a stonewashed plain blade.

It will be stuffed in checked baggage. SOmething about emerson's short little paragraph on the knife makes me want to get one. Its a stupid reason i know.

The Mini A100 SF is fantastic. I think this one will see alot of pocket time.

I have been wanting a mini a100 to go with my full size a100 so bad! Can't find one in plain stonewashed though.:(

Your in a win-win either way you decide to go. The A100 is versatile. My first was the CQC-7. I used it on duty forever. Based on that experience and now my son's experience with my 7, I'd say roll the dice and go with lucky number 7. Yes, we expect a full write up on your purchase as payment for our advice.

I love my miniA100 but for an all purpose knife the mini15 with its integral guard and slight recurve can't be beat

My only Emerson is the Mini A100, but funny I was thinking the Mini 15 would be my next in doing some research.
