Hi,
It is a Crosslock Solitaire. Model 180SX. Partially serrated drop point blade.
I have the Model 180S1 same but no serrations. A nice knife.

thank you very much... i so like this knife that i don't want to use... will try to get one as a user... but with no serrations

i believe the crosslocks were the first liner lock models produced by buck knives.
their subtle looks belie their tactical nature.
some had clips
whilst those that didn't,
had cordura sheaths.
and i still can't understand those gold titanium nitrade buckcotes...

Superior edge retention and visually appealing. I think people just didn't get the single edge sharpening.
Can't tell you how many ruined ones I've seen with both sided sharpened.

no offense intended,
but it's that repugnant color
which sends shivers
down my spine.
so much so that
it might as well
have been
in shocking pink...
no issues with additional edge retention though.
the crosslock remains a favorite design for me.
as it represents a period of great innovation.
a leap from the mundane and traditional fare.

Now I'm just teasing you. I would think a girly man would like a pink knife.... :D

It's not a Crosslock but this 110 has a pink ion-fusion blade with walnut inlay and brass bolsters. This was a stock photo from a buildout sale last year.

We've kinda hijacked this thread, someone here on the forum referred to those as Pepto-Bismol knives....

:D:D:D:D:D:D:)
colors makes or breaks a knife for me.
i m sure we won't be seeing yucky buckcoted color schemes for quite a while.
