I have had this a long time and lost the box. Anyone know what model it's called?

You'd be better off using it and getting your money's worth. I'm pretty sure that model isn't really rare.

About a year ago there were at least 2 to 3 of them a day expiring on Ebay. There are a lot of the C-26 Snap It models out there. Now the plain edged version is a bit on the rare side. I have only come across a couple of the plain edged versions in the last year or so. Also the sister model to this knife is the Remote Release C-30. It also is quite common with a serrated blade but kind of a rare item in plain edge.

But even the plain edged versions being somewhat rare don't bring in very much money when up for sale. Now that is subject to change. Because I have seen a lot of Spyders take off skyward on prices in the last year. But you won't get rich on the C-26 SE anytime soon. Like the one brother says you might as well get some use out of it. I actually like the C-30 Remote Release better than I do the C-26 model. Good Luck

Thanks. I use mine anyway, but was wondering if it was rare these days. I hadn't planned on selling it anyway. I have it in the orange model too with the sheeps foot. Kinda a neat knife.

My wife's favorite spyderco knife, BTW. I think it's much underrated.

I've got one with the plain edge, and I really don't use it much.
I think that having the clip stationary like it is and not rotating out of the way of the blade takes away from the utility of the knife.
It's the only spyderco I own, and I've had it for over 10 years now. If it wasn't for the fact that my 2 brothers and I each got one for a christmas gift one year and it has sentimental value I probably would have sold it long ago.
