Never mean to be the best value or most high-end product, but the most awesome model which just like the symbol to represent brand image.

For me

Benchmade - 710

Spyderco - Paramilitary 2

Coldsteel - Recon 1

Emerson - CQC-8

Kershaw - Blur

ZT - 0300

I like your list. Not so sure about the Blur, but not familiar enough to dispute it either.

Benchmade- Griptilian.

Don't know enough about Spydercos (they all look like convergent evolution to me)
Mostly agree otherwise, would put up the Leek as an alternative to the Blur

As the CRKT geek, I'll put in

CRKT - Carson M21

TOPS - Punisher movie knife. Hey; the alternative is the Tracker...

Gerber - Prodigy

Buck - 110

Case - Sodbuster

Chris Reeve- Sebenza
Busse- Battle Mistress
Bark River- Bravo-1
Case-Peanut
GEC- #73 Scout
Spyderco- Endura or Delica
Benchmade- 42
Kershaw- Leek
Buck- 110

These are what I consider to be the flagship models that everyone would probably associate with the brand, not necessarily my favorites.

Benchmade - 42

Spyderco - Endura/Delica

Coldsteel - Voyager Tanto

Emerson - CQC-7

Kershaw - Leek

ZT - 0300

Buck - 110

Case - Trapper

Schrade - sharpfinger
Victorinox - camper
Buck - 110
Gerber - mark II
Benchmade - 710
Spyderco - delica
Leatherman - supertool
Sog - government
Case - sod buster
Camillus - air force pilots knife

I would say that the 710 is arguably the most famous Benchmade ever, so I agree with that one. As to the Spyderco, the Military and Delica/Endura lovers will chime in, but I'd also go with you on the Para-2.

I'm not a super-big Cold Steel fan, but the American Lawman does appeal to me, so I probably don't have much of an opinion on their flagship model (and I've yet to own an Emerson - that might change soon though).

For Kershaw, I'd have to say that either the JYD or Tyrade was the pinnacle of their production - Some of Ken Onion's and Tim Galyean's finest creations made into affordable collaborations.

For ZT, the 056X series is going to trump all of their other models (at least for another year or so until the hype has died down), including the 030X series, and I have to say that it is definitely an awesome knife.

I vote

Benchmade - Bali-Song Song Weehawk

Spyderco - Paramilitary 2

Coldsteel - Master Tanto

Buck- Folding Hunter

Kershaw - Blur

Ka-Bar - USMC Fighting knife

Opinel - OP10 5.125" folder

Randall - Model 1 All Purpose Fighting Knife

Schrade - Uncle Henry Fixed

Case - Humpback Whittler

Victorinox - Swiss Army Ranger

Columbia River - 2.25" K.I.S.S.

For Kershaw I'd have to say the Blur only because I liked it so much that I tried to get every model I could find. It's an exemplary example of what I like in a folder.

For Cold Steel it would have to be the Trailmaster because that is the first "real big" knife I ever bought.

Buck - 110

Benchmade - 710

Benchmade: griptilian
Spyderco: delica
Kershaw: leek
Coldsteel: voyager
CRKT: M16
SOG: flash
Al Mar: sere 2000 mini
Buck: 110
Emerson; CQC 8
Case; peanut
Boker: not sure. Subcom maybe?

Albert-superlurker

Hmm, currently the most awesome knives representing the brand...
I have to go with newer models that showcase the brand
Benchmade; 275 Adamas, showcasing beefed up axis lock
Chris Reeve; Ti Lock, showcasing Chris's creativity
Spyderco; Lionspy, Elmax steel, and features shared with Lionsteel knives.
ZT; 777, ok its not out yet so 560/561, 777 showcases Zt's creativity and manufacturing. 560/1 I think will cast its shadow over the 300 series, its more innovative, its a better knife for less than a 301/2/3!

Gotta say that it looks good to me with the exception of Cold Steel since I think their original knife, the Tanto fixed blade, is the flagship. I still remember the adds for this knife from the early 80's.

I would also include the SR-1 as the flagship for LionSteel, simply because it is my newest knife and I am loving it!:D
