Which multi-tool?

Was thinking about getting either a Spyderench or a Byrdrench. What do you folks that have them, like or dislike about either one? I've looked around online a bit and what few Spyderenches I've found in stock generally are cheaper than the Byrdrenches? Perhaps that's due to the Spyderench being discontinued?

Anyway if you all would give me the benefit of your opinions on this matter it would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

P.S. I realize there might be better multi-tools out there such as the Leatherman, etc. but regardless I'd still like one of Sal's.

Personally, I'd go for the SpydeRench over the ByrdRench for the file if for no other reason. The coarse steel file on the Byrd model is a pocket/skin eater if you don't use the pouch. The newer SpydeRench is (in my opinion) not quite as finely crafted as the original, but the #1 Phillips screwdriver is much improved as is the bit retention magnet, and the diamond file is a lot easier on the pockets.
