Hi,

I have a Pulse that has ridden in its sheath on my belt for 2 years. Completely satisfactory for my needs, except - I wish it had a clip so I could carry it clipped to the waistband or the pocket of my shorts in the summer.

I realize that the new Wave and the Charge can use removable clips (I know
that the Kick also can, but I require all locking implements). Are there any
other possibilities, though? Maybe other manufacturers? I really don't want to carry around all those bits associated with the Charge.

All I really need is (again, all locking) a blade, phillips/flat screwdriver, scissors, and the plyers...and, of course, a pocket clip. More implements are OK, but the fewer the better (so as to reduce weight).

Any suggestions are appreciated! :)

well... if you don't want to carry the bits associated with the Charge, than don't carry them.

I would reccommend the new Wave since it is lighter than the Charge (not 100% sure).

The bits weigh next to nothing anyway, probably about the same as an extra mothful of coffee in the morning.

Get the Charge if you need a working tool. The bits offer a wide range of choice for so little weight.

the new wave is great ! the pocket clip works really well to support the weight and the horizontal/vertical leather/nylon pouches are great too. i'm glad i chose the wave.

Charge!

remember the call of the cavalry?

uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, uh huh!

The Wave is 8.5oz, Charge Ti is 8.4oz. and the Charge XTi is 8.3oz.
