Which of the many Sebenzas and or other Chris Reeve FOLDING knives fit these criteria most :

Edge shape , see photos, (ignoring the drop of the blade from the handle on the fixed blade) similar to the Hold Out and the Japanese kitchen knife.

For those who have ignored the Hold Out it is the top knife in the second photo.

Titanium handle of course.

Rough texture such as very coarse sand blasted or power sanded scratch pattern. I’m willing to listen to arguments for other handle textures. This is going to be a hard core user and will get all scratched up so may as well start out that way. Also I sense the “stock” “natural” “untextured” “mill finish” (I’m not sure what to call it) surface of many of the basic Sebenzas that I see is going to be too slick for my use.

And lastly but an important aspect : Which model has the thinnest blade in roughly a 3 to 3-1/2 inch edge length ? I could stretch to 4 inch I suppose.

Ajack60,

Micarta Inlays
Because we have found most customers choose the micarta inlay as a working knife, S35VN blades are tumbled and the handles are sandblasted. Silver thumblug and spacer round out this hardworking functional model.

Got it !
THANKS !

Also micarta inlays are the only inlays that CRK will blast.
So, if it gets all boogered up, you can send it in for a spa treatment and get it back looking new.
The micarta doesn't lose grip when it gets wet. Love the material

^^ What he said. I have that same model and it is great. Pretty much exactly what you described.

+1 on what he said also^^^^^. Large 21 Micarta Insingo = best CRK ever.
