Which of the two do you prefer - GW or AD?

Looking for opinions here. I can't make up my mind which of the two Busse models, the Game Warden or the Active Duty, to keep as my EDC - I've got a half dozen or more of each and need to settle on one model (and NO, this is not a sales thread). By EDC I mean pocket carry everywhere, downtown office, east coast city streets and stores, some business travel, and around my suburban home including the garden and workshop - I also carry a Victorinox as well (Hunstman, Forester, or Safari Trooper depending on the situation) For the woodsy stuff, I'm settled on my SAR-4 and NMSFNO along with a SAK, so this question is just about EDC. Both the GW and AD fit my hand equally well, so I guess comes down to blade size/shape/thickness and any other considerations I may have missed. Your comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

They are both great little knives and they each have their own advantages. Good luck in your decision. Personally, I like the Active Duty a little bit more than I like the Game Warden. In the end it all boils down to a personal preference.

That is a tough one. Those are two of my favorites. I would have a hard time choosing just one. Good luck with your decision.

All things being equal? Probably the BAD (the thinner higher hardness was a bonus).

But my CABS was better for woods work.

I would say the game warden would fit the pocket better.

I like the AD better. Because I have XL hands and the hump on the spine of the handle feels the hands better.

I find the GW easier to use at awkward angles because I can palm the butt with the edge oriented in pretty much any direction. This comes in handy because things I need to cut chip chop etc are never right in front of me at work. Usually like in a ceiling or inside a wall or overreaching on a ladder.
For sitting and whittling, food or fire prep or God forbid in a defensive situation my boney AD is my go to blade.
Plus around these parts a knife outside the kitchen strikes terror in the hearts of the mindless masses, and the GW seems to cause less panic. Needless to say, I will never be without several flavors of each :)

I like the AD much better. The handles fit my hand perfect.

Since you have multiples of each I suggest picking one of each, carry them/use them for a bit...then decide which works best for you. I think it boils down to personal preference.

:thumbup:My favorite EDC is the BAD, and now the Max Duty is challenging it. However, my snake skin anorexic Warden isn't too shabby either.

My vote goes for the Active Duty. I find myself reaching for it more and more in the past few years. I have one of the originals and would not trade it easily.

When it comes to small Busse knives I like to say that the GW brought me in, but the AD kept me in. Love 'em both, but always had a "thing" for the AD from the first image seen. Small haul from BLADE '08... ;)

I also like the SAR-3 LE a lot, it's handy and doesn't seem to draw much attention when carried openly here in Philly's suburbs.

A Vic and a fixed can't lose. I've tried pocket carry on both models and the GW was a better fit for me there but when you already have a Vic in pocket for finesse an AD inside the waistband gives you the beauty and the beast scenario that'll cover you for most any urban/suburban task.

AD :thumbup ::thumbup:

Good luck

AD. I was always double gripping the GW to get it right. AMS is even better than the GW for me.

Both knives have been two of my favorites every since I got interested/hooked on Busse Knives. To muddle the waters I sure like the AMS. Given the two in question though I think I still follow the GW as an EDC. Even with my big hands a GW has a way to just fit were it needs to be. Both are wonderful small knives and like already mentioned carry both for a while. What ever you decide you can't go wrong.
