which of your folders can you open with your non-dominant hand?

For me it is my Benchmade Osborn Rift, my HEST, and my ZT 0566. None of them particularly fast, but sure enough to get it into blade lock in 2 seconds or less. This is a necessary criteria I use in choosing as EDC.

I try to be as ambidextrous as possible and it works well with tri-ad and lockbacks, thumbstuds, holes, etc... Flippers with strong detents I don't like to mess with using my off-hand.

Every time I buy a folder, I try opening and closing it with both hands. I'd say just about every Spyderco lockback, 99% of Benchmade knives, and any flipper from ZT or Kershaw, even the Blur works fine. In my opinion, it takes practice, but it can be done.

Opening is easy. It's closing that gets a bit clumsy for me. :P

The symmetric knives (back locks, Axis lock) aren't too bad with my left hand. Frame and liner locks vary depending on how exposed the lockbar is. The ones that are even with the opposite handle scale (eg. ZT 0560) are tough for me left-handed. Ones that extend out a little bit more (eg. Cryo), I can work with little issue.

Pretty much any of mine, all the assisted openers, the only one that I have a trick with is my Endura, but that is a wave opener so it is kind of moot usually.

I can open and close all my folders with both hands easily. Except one though, my bali-song. I can do it, but if I don't practice every once in awhile I feel clumsy lefty. I don't practice as often as I should.

All of them except my old boyscout knife I got as a kid. The one everyone gets (except my son who may get a Benchmade Megumi)

I've spent quite a few periods in my life without the use of my dominant hand so im pretty good at getting by as a lefty (write legibly, eat with chopsticks, shoot)

I'm a lefty by nature but since the vast majority of my collection is tailored towards righties I've become pretty much ambidextrous

Being a lefty, the only knife I cannot operate with either hand was my right handed Zaan. Wound up selling it and getting a left handed version and all is good in my world now even though it is a challenge to open it with my right hand. That's why I'm a big fan of double thumb lugs

I can pretty much open any of my folders with either hand, cept my single-lug Sebenza. I have a Kershaw Avalanche which is also single-lug, but it's assisted so it's doable with a middle-finger flick.

Everything but my Spyderco Nilakka (right hand only) and my LionSteel Opera (not a one hand opener)

I'm an excellent shot with either hand. My knife is just for utility...right-handed utility.

I like flippers and train with my off hand for when I have to use it. Drives my wife nuts.

any and all including single lug CRK, I just use my finger on the stud and press in with my thumb, pressure is enough to push it out :)

I like to carry my knifes in my left pocket. I can grab faster and hold harder with my right hand, then pull my knife with my left !
