Which one for you?

Hi folks,

I was looking over the threads recently and notice that there's a lot happening recently. It got me wondering in the middle of all these new designs and stuff, do you have an older favourite or are you all taken with a new model?

So which single knife is your favourite?

My pick is the large Sebenza. Even though I have taken a real shine to Mammoth Ivory these days, my knife from 2006 with Amboyna & Spirograph Damasteel would still be my first choice if I had to reach for one and go;

Well I'm very new to the world of CRK, but I've already found myself selling off some of my more valuable other knives so I can make room for another CRK.

I am completely smitten.

My only CRK at the moment:

i was lucky and got my favorite version of the sebenza at a good used price. the plain small regular just looks right IMO, simple yet elegant but can do many cutting tasks.

the best looking ones are like the OP's damascus with ivory, man they are nice!
here is my sebenza

Great thread. I just received my Small Insingo (#48, born May 13, 2010--just twelve days ago)! I am totally taken with it. It is only my second CR, but I can see that it will be my only EDC for a long time. It just doesn't get much better than this, unless it's Roefisher's Damasteel & Amboyna beauty.

^^ +1:thumbup:

I am extremely happy with my Small Sebenza 21. I am able to edc this blade daily, unlike my Large Classic Sebenza, which I also could not be happier with. Maybe it's the ability to have the knife with me everyday that makes me so appreciate it. I will edc my Classic on the weekends, maybe I will sway toward it after I have carried it too for a while.

I feel much more attached to my insingo then I did my small 21. However, the small 21 has a custom g-10 scale...I am still tempted to swap the scale over to the insingo..but I just can't put myself to remove the 06-50 TI scale!

I am still attached to my first seb a small CGG regular, however that only comes out on special days...but I have a feeling the insingo will take over that duty in the near future..;)

I've owned both a large and small sebenza, an umnumzaan, and a mnandi and I have to say that out of all of those the mnandi is my favorite. I like it so much that I sold the others to purchase multiple mnandis. While it may not be as tough as the others, for me it's a perfect edc blade. It is light enough that you don't notice it in the pocket, strong enough to handle my daily cutting needs, and beautiful enough that it doesn't frighten the sheeple. Superb job CRK.:thumbup:

I dearly miss a Large Regular "Moon Song" CGG I sold.
That said,
I love my small Insingo. While it isn't as satisfyingly hand filling, it is big enough to do all the jobs I need a knife for.
