Which one is stronger: alox Farmer or New Soldier or OH Trekker?

New Soldier and OHT are basically the same thing. Scales are different and the New Soldier does not have a toothpick or tweezers. As for the strength, I have each of the models in question, I feel they are equal. It boils down to size--will you pocket carry, or carry on your belt? If you pocket carry.Then the Farmer. If on a belt, then which ever you can find the cheapest.
 
I have been carrying a OH Trekker in my right front pocket on a lanyard for about 11 years. I also keep a small Eagle Industry wallet that I use for business cards in the same pocket and have had no problems. I think it probably depends on what kind of pants you wear, mine are normally Cabela's seven pocket khakis. John
 
With either of these knives strength is not an issue. It's definitely possible to break either, but both will hold up very well to normal use, and can be expected to last for years and years.
 
Couldn't say, I've never used an alox Farmer. My OH Trekker, on the other hand, is a tough number. I expect mine to last me a lifetime.
