Which One Next?

So got my 15 today .
Now its time to think of which Becker is next. I am thinking the 14 or the 24. I don't have anything in D2 and I am thinking of putting the factory orange zytel on it and calling it a day.

What do you all think?

The 24 is very nice. You could start with the zytel, but at some point I recommend some G10 from The Knife Connection...and then kydex from 710, azwelke, or your favorite sheath maker.

So you don't have a 15?!?!

Seriously though, the BK9 was one I wasn't sure about getting. I kept thinking "why would I ever need a knife that large". Well, once I got it, I haven't wondered that again. I use it all the time when out camping. I make tent stakes with it, split any wood that needs splitting, feathersticks pretty well, and occasionally chop (usually bring a saw, but sometimes I find a bit of wood while out wandering around and don't want to make the extra trip to go get the saw).

Personally I found the BK11 too small for my tastes. But thats just it, its just my preference, some other people love theirs. I haven't tried the 14/24 yet, but I'd suspect they're similar enough that I already know they're not my "cup of tea".

Good luck with the next choice, and congrats on the 15 . I should have mine a week from today .

a bk 2 or 10 fine knives either will get the job done or even better a bk9 or.... all three!!

the profile of 5 and 15 are both quite interesting thou its not on my list as i prefer perhaps the 9, 16 and 14 profile.

i have a 14 and do like it a lot. awaiting for 16 next
