which one the damascus or plain for edc

Need your help. I am looking at getting my first sebenza within a month or two. I know for sure that I want the large. The small is just too small. Now, I love the look of the damascus. The only thing i am worried about is the damascus scratching easily and showing a ton of wear. Also worried about it not holding an edge as well as the S35VN. So what should I do go for the S35vn or damascus. Also pics would be awesome.
