Which one to get the Spyderco Chaparral, or Caly 3? Both in Carbon Fiber?

I already own the Sage 1 and I love it so much I wouldn't be without it. But I only own one Spyderco so far and would like to get another one soon. I am going back and forth between the Caly 3 in CF, or the Chaparral in CF. I love the look of Carbon Fiber and it's so nice on spydercos but I only want to choose one of these knives. I looked at both and the specs for them and they are both so good. I would like to hear everyone's opinion on the knives and tell me why you would go with the one you choose out of the two. Thanks

Each time I have to make a choice between 2 or more knives, I always pick the sprint run or the discontinued one. If I'm not mistaken, the Caly 3 is a sprint. I'd get that one first. You can always get the chaparral later since that's a regular production model.

I had the chapparal. Great light weight knife.

Didn't like the lock mechanism much. I prefer frame lock.

If it's the Caly 3 CF in ZDP-189 it's a regular production model I believe.

I am not a fan of backlocks - that said, I own both and they are both in my top five favorites.
The chaparral is thin, but the ergonomics are absolutely outstanding. The sage series always felt a bit big (tall) to me - so if you love the sage, the chap may be a bit small. It is like an 85% sage.
The caly is also an ergonomic dream. Much bigger/heavier compared to the chap, but then I guess everything is. One difference - the chap and Sage1 have the same CF. If that is the reason you love your sage, then the chap may be a better fit?

I know I haven't helped you choose. For what its worth, I carry the chaparral about 2-3x more than the caly.
