Which one would you all advise???? HELP

OK, I'm needing to get an new Emerson.... Wanting I guess..

I was interested in getting a Combat Karambit, but after looking at it, it seems that the "fingerhole" protrudes to far from the top of the pocket to be "concealed" or as concealed as I would like... Knives are frowned upon at work.

SO, I'm trying to find a different choice.... I have a Commander with the Chromium Nitrate blade, and I absolutely LOVE it. I have debated on getting another Commander with Black blade, (I prefer black) but since i have a Commander already, I thought about choosing something else. It will primarily be for self defense, as I carry a multi-tool for work. Here is what I have "narrowed" it down too.

CQC-11, CQC-10, and last would be CQC-8. I don't think the CQC-8 is an option due to the lack of "wave". Between the 11 and the 10, which would you choose? Similar designs, slightly different opening mechanisms other than the wave, and slightly different blade designs. Are the handles different? The 11's look like the Spec-War handles, but the 10's look slightly more "contoured" Are either better than the other?

BTW, I am not a fan of the CQC-7(even though I have 2 EKI's and 3 Benchmade versions), I dislike the blade to handle size ratio, and I'm not a HUGE fan of the Emerson Tanto blade. So a Super CQC-7 is not an option either....

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!! HELP!!!!!

does it have to be waved? if not check out an I&I tanto, a 4" non waved w/a handle kinda like a viper, available from I&I sports, a limited production knife, i have one and like it myself. but i just noticed you DONT like the tanto...

or check out an SOCFK if it must be waved, a spec war handle w/a waved tanto(or spearpoint) blade, great knife, only MSRPs at $149.99, mostly aimed at armed forces so he keeps the price down, a great knife, my fav EKI, only like my spec war CQC8 better, available at extreme outfitters.

the CQC8 is coming out waved, available now IIRC, IIRC all the production '8s are waved now, thats another thought, i really like the '8 myself, have 2 a EKI/SF that came with the surefire light and a custom spec war '8 w/a zero bevel grind blade, my edc knife. the wave isnt such a big thing to me, of the 8 EKI's i own(SOCFK,ECA P-Tac, P-Tac, PSARK, I&I tanto,CQC7, spec war and CQC8), only 2 are waved(SOCFK and commander)

the '10 and '11 are both good, i like the '11 myself, the 11 does have the spec war handles IIRC, really either is a good one. also check out the azak marud, its a limited edition kinda like a 10 and 11, check out the EKI site.
as ya can see i like the limited production stuff myself.
of them all i would get an '8 myself, probably.
