Slicer Shark or Sharksfoot? Here they are and I just got the sharksfoot Friday. I got them both from here on the forums. I had already been carrying the slicer shark for a few weeks but now that I have the Sharksfoot I like it too. Kevin

Probably the Sharkfoot as I don't have anything like it and I've been wanting to try something like a wharncliffe for a while :)

I have a sharks foot that seems to get carried more than any other knife because I like the Demco design that much.

Been thinking if getting a slicer. I may like it even better.

For me it would be the sharks foot since it would be easier to sharpen. I have similar Demkos.

i like the slicer grind on that knife. I have the same one you got there, and one in ultem that I plan on swapping with ti scales in the future. It’s a great little knife, I carry it when I want something small, but still need a tough knife that can do most anything I’ll encounter.
At first I was debating which blade shape to get, but once I had the first slicer I really liked it. It doesn’t have a ton of belly, but it still has a pokey tip which does comes in handy sometimes.

I hate to admit this - the sharks foot got the most use when I had one. That blade shape shears though stuff like a laser, especially when using a cutting board. I like both though.

doesn't matter. they have basically the same stock thickness and grind on them. other than the slight edge belly on the drop point theyll work the same. pick the one ya want that day and change when ya feel like it......

I prefer the drop point, so I'd carry that one.

Switch them out and see what you like best.

I carry one knife for weeks sometimes and sometimes three different in a day.
Randomly switch to another as you feel like it.
