Which one would you pick and why?

I really love the aesthetics and design of these two bowie knives the tsavo recurve bowie by Samuel Lurquin ,and the combat bowie by Nick Wheeler and Joe. I want your opinion on the advantages of the slight recurve on the tsavo compared to the big belly on the Wheeler? What style of blade would be better to you and why?

I happen to like the aesthetics of the Wheeler better, and most likely I'd choose that one... but that's just based purely on my personal taste in the looks of the knife.

Nick Wheeler, because it comes with a sheath, I like a simple satin finish and I don't like recurves as far as sharpening convenience (I use flat stones not rods). This blade is also not as artsy/a collector blade.

I love both. This would probably be better off in the custom and handmade section.

Not sure if I can pick. Nick and Joe are awesome but Lurquin's stuff just speaks to me.

I can't pick.

Dude ; get the wheeler. Easier to sharpen ; especially during field use. Re curve is comparitively more time consuming

I like the Wheeler myself. Classic bowie design. Blade shape is easier to sharpen and the handle looks more comfortable imo. The way the Tsavo handle looks, there doesn't look like much room for the pinky (admittedly hard to tell by a photo, I know).
