I have a Microtech Vector M, and a Spyderco Military in 440V. I really love both of them
but I am torn between which one to use as an everyday carry knife. Both of these knives are supposed to be tough enough for a lifetime of use. Should I just keep the Microtech as a collectors item? It is a ser #ed limited production run. Any help would be appreciated

You answered your own question .... keep the MicroTech seriel numbered limited as a collectors item.

You'll really love that CPM-440V blade on your Military, cuts long & stays sharp long too!

The PC answer is to keep the collectible. But my question would be which one feels better, and serves you better as a daily carry? Also you have to ask yourself why you bought the MT to begin with, to look at or to use!

Even Mark Uses his Apogee, and that ain't no cheapie!!!

The Vector looks nice, but the advice I got back when I was deciding between an MT Kestrel and Vector pointed out that the Vector's blade isn't that useful. The Military should serve better for everyday functions.
