Which Pena Mula would you get?

Which handle pattern of Pena Mula do you prefer most?

  • Black Micarta

  • Natural Micarta

I’m glad he partnered up with reate to make them. Not all of us can afford to buy $800 pocket knives all the time.

didn't I already kinda do that......well not completely.....ill fix that oversight here.....

so what are you hoping to learn?

okay that aside😄....they all sold out already? what was the blade length on them...good lookers......

edit part: nevermind looked it up looks like 3.25" and a frame lock. 3.5" blade would have made this one even better......

Seems to me the blade is too short, idk just maybe my eyes or something.

I owned one of these before, in full ti, and I’m an idiot for selling it. It really is a a great EDC knife. The size is perfect.
 
I had one of the originals. Bladestock was a little too thick for my liking…although…Pena could twist my rubber arm with a front flipper Mula instead of the thumbstud.

I vote for green micarta.

naw not your eyes..it appears more blade could fit in there and id prefer that. could be the picture angle taken, warping the size though. still a good looker even with the shorter blade length.

Photo angle *could* be a part of it, but I'd say not all.

Blade to handle ratio is a tricky thing with folders, a delicate balance sometimes.

I don't know what the closed/handle dimensions are but this one appears that it could have a bit more blade for sure.

Not so bad if you make it your only carry. I have ben carrying my custom Mula (brown micarta) exclusively for over 1 1/2 yrs. now. I love the knife. I been very tempted to try the Reates , Please let us know how you like yours
 
I voted for green even tho you got the brown. At least you got a micarta handled one. Too many plain Ti handles out there for my liking. I love the little accent of micarta on the lockbar side too.

Congrats on your new toy.
