I was not using my CRKT Falcon much until a few days ago. I decided to put it in my kitchen knife drawer. I have been using it in almost every meal prep since. It has cut up many apples, tomatoes, carrots and zucchini. It is a small knife so it won't replace my 8" chef but it has been holding its own next to my 4" paring.

I know others use their knives for lunch and sometimes in the kitchen. Do any one of them hold their own next to kitchen knives?

I manage a restaurant and I swear by my RAT-3 and my blade-tech pro hunter. The spyderco manix is also a hell of a kitchen knife. The spyderco temperance has a permanent place in my kitchen.

I never thought of the Temperance. I think Master Sal Glesser has one in his kitchen.

I have the Spyderco Temperance and the Fred Perrin hanging up next to my chopping block. Both great choppers in the kitchen.

The Bark River Canadian Sportsman (first pic) is great in the kitchen. I use mine for all the outdoor cooking I do... I've also had my eye on one of the new Bark River Kitchen/utility knives. (second pic)
