I don't venture into this corner of the forum often, so take it easy on me.

I've owned a couple ZT Emersons and just bought a Kershaw CQC6k for $19.
I love the handle shape, blade grind (no recurve), and size of the Kershaw.
A lot.
I just don't like the cheap blade steel and steel lock side.

Is there a real Emerson that is very similar to the Kershaw 6k?

If you can find a Mach-1 it is very similar to the 6K, only slightly bigger. They aren't made anymore but I see used ones pop up occasionally for reasonable prices. If you really like the 6K you will probably really like this one too.

That was the first one I thought of, but figured it would be pretty difficult to obtain, plus they are waveless. An M-Wave would be a better match.

Grab a horseman. You wont be sorry.

 Hey... I can add a thumbs up for the Horseman now, thanks to SALTY. That's actually the one I thought of first. I used to have a 6K and I was impressed by the build and F&F Kershaw did on it. The Kershaw 6K and the ZT 630 both seem to be Horseman- or CQC8- inspired.
