Which respirator for general purpose?

Pretty basic safety question I need a respirator but don't know which one I should get? I've got some time off next month and would like to try and make my first knife. I have wanted to do this for some time and thought might as well give it a shot. I will be attempting the stock removal method and plan on using either 440C stainless or some O1. I have thought about using micarta or maybe some hardwood for handles but haven't decided which I should try, the easier the better since it'll be my first try. So which respirator and cartridges do I need for say metal, micarta, or possibly hardwood dust/particles. Thanks for the input everyone.

I picked up the Pink 3M respirator from Tru Grit and some Dewalt googles/safety glasses and it is a great combination at a good price. Clean breathing and no fogging of the goggles!
