Researching band saw blades since my last Lenox DM2 is about worn out, and I came across some Shop Talk recommendations for sawblades.com. They have quite a few different blades. Which ones are recommended? I cut mostly 3/32 to 1/4 bar stock in carbon and stainless. I'm thinking either a straight 18 TPI or one of the 10-14 variable pitch, either in 1/2" wide. 93 1/2" upright band saw, if that changes the recommendation any.

For that stock size, you need 18TPI. DM2 1/2" is what I use.

I also recommend the ones with the "soft back". They will certainly give you a much long life.
