Which Scale Color Looks Best with Bronze Standoffs?

Hi guys,
I recently ordered some Bronze Ti Standoffs for my XM-18 and I was wondering which scale colors you guys think looks best with them? I am planning to test them with a few that I have (namely Translucent Green, Brown, Green/Black), but I am curious what you guys think looks best and I was hoping to see some pics.

(If you have pics of the blue standoffs with various scale combinations, I would love to see those too!)

Personal taste (obviously) But, I like the Bronze stand-offs (and the Blue) on the textured Ti scale.

I have Bronze stand-offs on my XM18 3.5" with a smooth Bronze Ti scale and the stand-offs don't "Pop" quite as much as they would if the Ti was neutral in color.
I am away from the computer but have several pics in some other threads.
IF you are staying G10 - I'd think Black would make both Blue/Bronze stand-offs "stand out".

Great advice! I bet they look amazing with the Ti Scales. I am sure I will pick one up someday, but for now I am sticking with G10. I have a really dark (predominately black) Blue/Black that it sounds like will work pretty well. As soon as it arrives, I will post some pics of my own.

dont know about the bronze i fell for the blue ones :) and they look awesome with an orange scale! but i think i agree with the black scale for bronze
 
I put them on with my textured CF which is slightly off black. The slight off hue of the scale works really well with the bronze.
 
Also, I seem to recollect that the new laser etchings seem to exude a bronzeish hue which would look cool with
Black G10 and Bronze stand-offs (Very Sharp Look) :thumbup:

( Funny too, I was going to mention the Blue stand-offs with Orange G10 and then a Blue/Orange Lanyard w/Blue Bead)
That would "Pop" for sure.

Very cool! My 3.5" XM is the one that I bought the bronze standoffs for (with the engravings), but the last sentence of your reply has given me a great idea for my 3" orange XM with a blue lanyard (see pic). The blue standoffs on that one will look amazing! Thanks again.

Try your bronze standoff with a blue scale. Someone opsted a pic of that, and I was surprised how much I liked it. Bronze also looks great with black and light grey scales, I've done those myself.

Yes, it will. Someone in here posted that, and the blue really popped.
 
I'd love to find a set of bronze standoffs to go with my orange scale, but I did just install some blue ones to go with my blue scale and I like the look a lot! Mine is a 3"

In a survey carried out by Oxford University the results showed that smooth and textured carbon fibre scales were best matched to either blue or bronze standoffs.

I carried out my own research and developed an equation which proves that carbon fibre scales are indeed best matched with blue or bronze standoffs.

Carbon fibre scale + bronze or blue Ti standoff = awesome

I then developed a meter device, it too showed "more betterer" with the blue/bronze standoffs and carbon fibre scales.

I'd love to see what hit the 'most betterer' notch on the JEBAOD meter!!

More betterer on the JT scale.... I like how the bronze is a very subtle difference from the rest of the Ti and kind of matches the bronzish color in the jimping...

Also, My Bronze Ano is a different shade than most I've seen, Possibly due to age... The stand-offs match the scale, clip and skull - Looks Cool. Might have to EDC this for awhile (not a Flipper) I did EDC this one until I got my ALL Ti
Flipper.

Loving the bronze standoffs and Ti scales!....now somebody sell me a set of 3" standoffs!!
