I'm looking at 4 brand new Large Sebenza 21's.
1) Blue Hex CGG
2) Gold Hex CGG
3) Cross Hatch
4) Red Micarta Inlays

Which would you get?

Yes it's going to be (one of) my winter edc's. Just wondering if the Inlays would prevent the knife from easily sliding into my pocket. The Hex CGG versions with their flatter profile and less resistance seem like they'd disappear in my pocket no problem.

Either the Cross Hatch or the Red micarta. They will be easier to sell if that comes into play.
The Hex CCG (IMO) is more of a personal choice. I haven't seen them fly off the shelf.

Cross-hatch...this is the one that gives you a solid grip instead of "colors."
If you want color, buy a plain Jane model and anodize the scales to your choice of colors.
This one reminds me of my Wilson Combat/CRK Sebenza collaboration, which is always in my pocket.

I see what you mean. It also reminds me of the Umnumzaan.

Yes, I have a Zaan also, but am favoring the Wilson Sebbie at the moment...
Both great knives. And, I realize that there is plenty of room for individual taste, so buy the one that tweaks your fancy.

I vote Think Twice or Blue Hex just because we have them in stock;)

In all honesty you will not make a bad choice with any of them!

I voted Red Micarta inlays because I have a Large Inkosi with natural micarta inlays that have turned reddish from natural hand oils and loom beautiful. Also red is my fav. colour so I might be biased.

The crosshatch is one of the nicest Sebenza “graphics” of any I have ever seen on any CRK. I love the bronzish colour of the scale and the cutouts look awesome.

Yes , that cross hatch looks great with that color on the Titanium.

I'm sure I'll be happy with any of the ones on the list. I just like finding out what other knife guys like and why. I'm gonna make my decision by NYE.

And I do kinda like that Think Twice bar code one now too.

I'm with Lapedog Lapedog on the red Micarta as well as ownership of a large Inkosi natural Micarta. Mine's still a semi drawer queen as it's only gotten light carry so my inlays haven't turned much so far. I also have a large 21 Insingo user in Micarta. The nice thing with Micarta is you can let it get as oiled up and dirty as you want and still restore it to like-new condition with a brush, soap, and water.

I have no issue with pocket-ability on either of my Micarta-inlayed large CRKs. Most all of the posters say the same thing--you really can't go wrong with any CRK--and I agree, but the Micartas are probably the best in hand for grip-ability. Here's a gratuitous +1 Micarta shot....

Any of those listed would be just fine. Personally, I'd be leaning toward the micarta, because I've been trying to talk myself out of a micarta Inkozi for months. Not mentioned as an option, but I really like the slabs on my Starbenza.

Thickness and handling of the slab side vs micarta aside- The first 2 are kind of striking. If that's your style have at it. You'll probably never see another in the wild.
