which sheath??

Hi..

I'm still quit new in here - so bear with me..

I would like to get a new sheath to my BK2.. I'm thinking about at kydex, but I don't know what the difference is between a custom made kydex and the one that came with the knife??

Who can recommend a place/person to make these?? Someone who can make it, so it also fits a Tek-Lok and a Survival Flint / Fire Starter...

I don't have a workshop - so where do I get one of these made? Someone that ships to Denmark, Europe....

And handels.. What is the difference between Micarta handles and the one that came on the knife? I sure think the grip could be better....

I would like some i black.. Where do I get a hold of these?

There's a world of difference between the stock kydex and a well fitted custom sheath. But, that is why it costs so much more, a bit of give and take when it comes to a custom product. Cost vs Quality. Better retention, better overall fit, usually thicker material, and your preference of sheath type and carry method are some of the advantages of having a sheath custom made.

The micarta handles are, to me, simple preference. I do think Kabar has them for sale and there's also a few custom makers out there as well.

Finding either is a simple search away. Go to the Becker forum and do a search for "kydex sheath" and "micarta handles" and you should get a good selection of hits to read through.
