Which sheaths accomodate a BK13?

So, I guess the title says it all, which of the sheaths for the larger knives have the insert for the Remora? Oh, and would the Ka-Bar Piggyback fit in the same insert? Anyone know if the Remora would fit in the insert in the JAB sheaths in place of the Piggyback?

Not sure about the Ka-Bar parts, but the 9, 7, 5 and 4 have the Remora slot.

Yes and yes.

The insert is the same size over all, but in the JAB stuff, you might have a slight raise, because of the button post.

Other than that, rock on, little caping knives......

Thanks for the intel, I appreciate it. FWIW, the FAQ is incomplete about this... I actually went there before I asked :eek:

Is it true that the 5 and 7 sheaths are the same part?

I've been agonizing over the choice between a 5 and a Potbelly... decided to hold off for a week or two, combine shipping, and get both :) The Piggyback interests me, but I like the USA factor of the Remora, good to know it will fit both sheaths.

Does this hold true for the new sheaths that come with the laser etched knives ??? I needs to know. :D

I would like to give you some friendly advice on they way you are posting. Bladeforums does not like old posts brought back to the top. You should try to find a newer post or start your own.

But please dont stop asking your questions. :)

And yes, the BK13 will definitely fit in the BK4 sheath.
