I have six beauties 17 BGRS, 17.5 FF, 18 SGT Samsher, AK 15, CAK 16.5 and AK18 and now I think I need a seventh, any suggestions?

sweet... looks like you got choppers down :D

how about something more slender and fast? maybe a chitlangi, gelbu, siru or chainpuri :)
orrr you can opt for the non-khuk HI line IE swords, bowies & small knives ;)

The chitlangi may be the one, I'll think on it some.

Thanks guys

Have you decided on which Chitlangi H2O? I have the very first Chitlangi made by HI shortly after Pala hired Jag and Prem, if I'm not mistaken they were both in their 70's! And a very good team of kamis!
Mine is slightly over 21" and very light for its length and, like the BGRS and a couple of others I've heard tell about, cuts like a much heavier khukuri!  :D
I was still fairly mobile and able to walk in the semi-forested field behind our backyard and easement just not a long ways. I took the oh so beautiful Chitlangi out there and the brush was really, really, thick so I found a somewhat small tree with tons of small branches about 1/2"-5/8" and not much room to swing. I maneuvered the Chit into what room there was and swung the best I could and much to my surprise I cut half the branches off with that one small whack.
Of course getting rid of the branches gave me a bit more room for the next swing, which took the other half of the small branches off effectively giving the bush a somewhat angled flat top.:D :D
I would love to have an 18" Chitlangi but I don't know what I would do with it except for fondling and admiring it like I do with the majority of my khukuris.;) :)

hehe dont forget the sotang model :)
dont know what that is? its a chit handle with gelbu blade... i was lucky enough to snag one of these from a private seller some time back :D

Other then getting a lighter model (chitlangi, chainpuri, kobra, sirupate would all make excellent choices). You may also want to consider one of HI non kukri items, swords or some of their knives. A bowie or seax would fit right in on your collection.

Yeah, what Yvsa said.

The Chitlangi is a beautiful khuk and the pictures you see online really dont do it justice. You have to hold it in your hand to truly appreciate it. It's handsome, graceful, quick, and a powerful cutter.

M43!

And if you're not restricting the next purchase to khuks, why not a Kumar Karda with carved horn handle? They're right purdy-like!
