There is a couple of the Silky Saws I am thinking about getting, For those that have Silky Saws in your Kit, what model or models do you have and how do they work for you?

I have the 170 and to me it is a great combination of small and compact yet cuts like crazy.

I have the Pocket Boy 130 with medium teeth:

And the Pocket Boy 170 with large teeth:

I kind of like the smaller 130 better, but both cut really well.

I have the F-180 with Large teeth. It is fantastic for two or three inch branches with softer woods.
I highly recommend them!

I have the smaller 130 and love it. The three cut much better than my Corona which has been relegated to truck box duty.

I have the PB 170 with large teeth and it works great for me. I have seen some great arguments here for one of the larger saws and would strongly consider it if it fit in my day pack.

Cliff, thanks for the great photos, it makes it alot easier to figure them all out with the side by side pics. I like the looks of the 130, is it just a bit more stout, is that why you like it, or is it easier to carry....or both? Gene

I like the Super Accel 210 best. The blade is over an inch and a half longer than the PB170 and over 18% thicker. I experience less flex. It is a little heavier but because it uses a hardened aluminum frame instead of the steel frame of the PB170, the difference is not too great. I have the largest teeth available and they work fine on even dry hardwood from dead fruit trees.

I normally carry a saw in the cargo pocket of my pants,so the 130 is a bit more handy in that respect.
I wouldn't say that it's more sturdy than the 170...just a bit more compact & I like it better because of that.

Really though, all those saws work well.

I've got the pocket boy 170 with large teeth, cuts very well. As this is the only Silky I have at the moment I can't comment on the others. I find the large teeth make fast work of normal cutting chores.
