When I got my first sebenza in the late 90s, the only two knives I owned were a fully serrated spyderco and a small regular sebenza. Partially due to ignorance, and partially because of how cool the spyderco serrations looked, I desired a serrated sebenza! Of course, at the time, Chris Reeve did not offer an option. And now that he does, my knowledge about serrations has changed and I realize they aren't great except for the case where you're cutting a lot of rope.
That said, I still want to get a serrated CRK folder! I think the only options are the 21 and the Inkosi. Small or large, and plain titanium, CF, or inlaid micarta. Of those options, help me pick one! To be truthful to myself, it likely won't see much actual real world use, but I will rotate it into my EDC. My lifestyle doesn't tend to have me using my EDC knives much, so it doesn't matter whether it's plain or partially serrated for my limited real world use. It's just because I want one!!
I'm leaning towards a small black micarta 21. If I get one of the aftermarket micarta backspacers, it could look pretty mean! But I'm also considering a large plain 21. Even though it doesn't matter much for my limited cutting uses, I think partial serrations might be better on a large than a small, since on a small, that leaves much less regular edge for 99% of cutting.
