which sog trident xr would yould you choose?

ive been looking at the new 2020 sog trident and want to get one, but i cant decide which color scheme to choose. the black with red or the olive drab version, which would you guys choose if you had to pick between those two? i think there is an all black version coming out too.

Probably the olive one, but I have to wonder why anyone would buy a SOG nowadays unless they just really liked the design. SOGs are quite pricey for what they typically offer in terms of build quality and materials, and I'm not sure how well these are heat treated.

yeah just wanted to try something different i guess, though i was a big fan of the original trident. some of the new sog's dont look too bad, im willing give them a try. the new sog flash looks like it could be a popular design if its made well. im definitely going to get the new vision and the new pentagons dont look too bad either.

 
Call me a mall ninja, but I like the black and red. Olive drab is a useful color for camouflage, but it's damn near the ugliest thing on the color palette. If you do pick one up, let us know what you think. I really like the look of their redesigns and the overhaul they've made seems very promising to me, but I'm hesitant given their history.
 
I think both look nice,I am going to get the olive one eventually- I have a terminus xr in bdz1 and is one of my favorite steels holds a razor edge nicely-btw the new Aegis looks nice also ,they are all about $20 overpriced imho
 
I like the blue colored one personally.

Out of the two you picked I would go green.
The black one looks cheap in my eyes.
 
so i ended up going with the black and the red. i have to say the knife feels very solid and well made. it does not feel cheap, and it has no play at all and solid lockup. the assisted opening fires hard and is easy to use. the blade comes extremely sharp. im pretty pleased with it.
