which spec ops sheath for the 'ETS' sjtac

just got my 'ETS' knife and was wondering which size of spec ops sheath i need for it.

My older SJTAC would not fit the smaller sheath without hitting the pin. Go for large.

I use the shorter combat master spec ops sheath with my jungle camo SJT (I assume it has the same blade lenght as the ETS Jack), and it works fine. No signs on the blade of hitting the pin.

My ETS SJTAC also fits in the smaller version... but it's oh so close for the tip to tap that pin. I suppose if you were moving around and you had the sheath strapped to you or a pack, I would opt for the larger size. :thumbup:

thanks for all the info - i guess i will go with the larger size - just to be sure the knife clears the pin. i was hoping it would fit in the smaller one - but i guess its just too close.

X Goldy you can use the smaller version just dont use the screw and glue the liner in so it doesnt come out when you sheath and unsheath.

Mine (LE) hit the pin. You could just take the pin out and allow friction to keep the kydex liner in. I considered this option.

Hot glue sounds like a better idea. :thumbup:

However, I already had a nice leather sheather made by Dwayne.
