Let's hear/see them! Just looking for some ideas for a new keychain knife. I'm leaning towards a SS serrated Ladybug or zdp Manbug. Any insight would be appreciated.

ZDP Manbug on my jeep keys and a SE Ladybug (I got it cheap) on the house keys. Best choice is the Manbug - I work in an office environment and it does not draw any negative comments at lunch time... some of the younger ladies come by to borrow it for lunch time tasks... its my only ZDP knife and I enjoy the steel.

Happy New Year

A ZDP Ladybug rides on my keychain. I tried a Manbug for about a week and I just didn't like it as much.

I tend to switch between my grey G10 Jester, and my SuperBlue Ladybug. Used to be an H1 Ladybug, but too much use and it being a pinned knife has caused it to have some blade play. I might try to tighten the pivot pin, but I prefer the FFG of the SuperBlue, or the blade shape of the Jester so it hasn't been a priority. It's all but retired as a result.

Please elaborate.

This is all purely subjective, of course.

I'm sure the Manbug is a great blade, but the LB is like a comfortable pair of shoes for me now. I picked up the LB while on vacation in Gulf Shores at the shop in the outlet mall in Foley, AL in 2012, and it has been on my key chain ever since I got it (sans the week I tried the MB). The handle on the LB is slimmer and thinner, so I've gotten used to how it rides and lays in my pocket and on my key chain. I've also used this little knife a lot and I just love the blade shape. I just didn't get used to the more abruptly up swept tip of the MB.

If the Jester ever gets released again, I'd like to give it a shot, but it's going to have to be very impressive for me to swap it out as my EDC key chain rider.

None. The keychain knife is always a Victorinox Classic of some kind. I need more than a blade on the keychain. :)

On the keychain I use when going out exercising I use a Ladybug3 Salt SpyderEdge FRN because it's so light and doesn't rust.

On another keychain I use the Squarehead.

Stainless serrated Jester. Used to have a stainless Ladybug on there which was good too. The handles take on a cool stonewashed appearance from banging against the keys.

I often carry some of the above mentioned knives, like an SB Manbug, Jester, or Ladyhawk, but I rarely ever attach any of those to my actual keys (I dislike rattling keys and accessories below my steering column when driving).

I do have this little guy on a Casey Lynch suspension clip dangler that I occassionally throw in a pocket if I'm not wearing pants with a coin pocket (slacks or khakis). It's just a regular ladybug in a kydex sheath. Might do the same for my Ladyhawk.

^I was thinking the same thing when looking at the blade shape of the MB and I think I will prefer more of an acute tip on such a small knife:thumbup: Now I can't decide between stainless steel serrated (my main blade is always PE) or frn zdp. I have always wanted a zdp blade:confused: The hell with it I'll just order both!:D

For longer road trips, the EDC pouches get bigger lol. And I am fine tuning them all the time, all the way up to the full bugout bag. The LD01 has already been replaced by an O'Pen and the Delica will be replaced with a HAP40 Stretch.
